12/23: COVER: Losing It (Brody Dolyniuk & Nina DiGregorio
This electric violin will break your heart in all the best ways.

Below is an exquisite cover of “Losing It” by Brody Dolyniuk and Nina DiGregorio, two musicians from other bands who frequently collaborate on covers (including multiple Rush covers).
I chose this particular one for the electric violin, which still doesn’t seem by appearance to be a real instrument, but which makes such beautiful music. Nina plays it beautifully; no offense to Brody, who is just as skillful on his thirteen instruments or whatever, but she absolutely steals the show.
That said, Brody’s vocal on the bridge brings tears to my eyes. It’s just so sweet and simple and sad—and I love how he phrases, The bell tolls for thee/ the bell tolls for…
